Randy Couture Versus Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

Round 1

The natural Randy Couture comes out with a nice combination. Both fighters connect with a few punches. Nogueira catches Randy with a solid right hand and he tries to finish Randy off on the ground. Randy survives and won't tap. Both fighters go up to the ground. Nogueira puts together a nice combination and Randy counters back. Very exciting fight at this point. Randy is employing a nice dirty boxing style.

Round 2

Randy gets hit with a left hook and both fighters go to the ground with Randy on top. Antonio flips Randy over and works on him from the top. Antonio is looking for an arm triangle while in the full mount. He throws a few punches to try to loosen Randy up. Randy manages to get on his feet. Randy connects with a nice puch to the face.

Round 3

Both fighters exchange. Antonio gets Randy down and puts a beating on him. Randy survives the ground and pound. Eventually he gets on top.

Conclusion

Antonio Minotauro Nogueira wins by unanimous decision.
